Privacy Policy
Who we are
Tarot for Women is an online educational platform.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
Contact forms are for contact only. We do not keep any of your data and your questions/comments are deleted after processing.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
Your data is collected by our newsletter provider Flodesk if you sign up for free products such as The Free Tarot Ecourse. They are up to date with all regulations, laws and procedures. Your data is also stored with Teachable on their platform if you choose to buy an ecourse via this website. On your request your data can be deleted at any time. We never share your data with a third party for money.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Your contact information
Your contact information is stored via Flodesk, our newsletter provider if you ever signed up for a free product. If you signed up for an ecourse, your contact information is stored via Teachable.
Cookies and Pixels
When you access the Website, Tarot for Women will learn certain information about you during your visit.
The Website provides various places for users to provide information. We collect information that users provide by filling out forms on the Website, communicating with us via contact forms and providing information when ordering a product or service via the Website.
As you navigate through our Website, we may use automatic data collection technologies including Google Analytics to collect certain information about your browsing patterns and about the type of computer you use, your Internet connection, IP address, operating system, and your browser type.
The information we collect automatically is used for statistical data and will not include personal information.
Similar to other commercial websites, our website utilizes a standard technology called “cookies” and server logs to collect information about how our site is used. When you visit a website, that site’s computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you.
We use personal information for purposes of presenting our Website and its contents to you. We may use the information you provide to us to display advertisements to you that are tailored to your personal characteristics, interests, and activities.
